Phillips & Marek was hired by Kindness Counseling to create a logo and website for this private practice. When the practice expanded a couple years later, we were asked to create a complementary color palette, as well as incorporate the new doctor into the existing site.

OUR APPROACH
Wordmark: Our client requested development of a wordmark that conveys a sense of acceptance, authenticity, caring, inclusiveness, transparency, trustworthiness and kindness. The final mark (above) also represents how counseling can help one delve deep below the surface to uncover the value of being kind to one's self.

Color: The primary purple color represents the shadows of our fears, the gray is comforting and supportive, while the bright pink is symbolic of a friendly smile.

Website: The new wordmark, color palette and professional photography were used to create a welcoming site. It also features a blog page and a special section in the doctor's native Portuguese. When a new therapist joined the practice, we added two additional colors to the palette and updated the copy.
I feel very lucky to have found Phillips & Marek. They were able to capture my voice and the message I wanted to convey with only a couple meetings. The website is intuitive, the content is clear and the aesthetics stellar. Beyond skilled professionals, they are also extremely easy to work with and accommodating.
